Single Pocket

Size Guide
  • This is the most upscale Merino shirt on the market. Just read the reviews!

Never worry about being underdressed and looking like a tourist. Intentionally designed for dinner in Rome, business in London and any first class cabin.

Free shipping & returns in the US.

    • Non-Mulesed Certified
    • 130 gsm (as light weight as most dress & casual shirts)
    • Hidden chest pocket perfect for holding cash (see photo)
    • If you ever get a shirt made in Bangkok, you'll get adjustable and convertible cuffs without asking. Two-button, adjustable cuffs narrow the cuff so you don't have to tailor the sleeve length if it is a little too long. The convertible aspect is the ability to wear cufflinks. It's rare to do that these days of course, but an interesting option if you want to really elevate your appearance (see photo).

The Libertad Difference.

We made it lighter

Libertad can be worn in a wider temperature range. You can layer a light shirt to be warmer in the cold, but you can’t make a heavy wool shirt cooler.

We made it smoother

We buzzed the woolly fuzz for a 21st Century face lift - Wool that doesn’t look like wool!

We made it firmer

Untamed Merino is so soft it droops over the shoulders like pajamas. We spun it tighter to give it some backbone and a crisp appearance.

We made it dressier

You’ll never be underdressed with Libertad’s exclusive finish. Subtle & understated, it strikes the perfect balance of elegance without ostentation.

Perfect for international flights

I travel overseas often. I own two of the long sleeve single-pockets shirts. They are what I wear when I fly both for business and pleasure.

The reason I like them is because they are very comfortable. And they keep me warm enough or cool enough on board. I can roll up or the sleeves as I need. Some times my travel is multiple flights, and it takes 22+ hours to the other side of the planet. But the shirt still looks great when I arrive.

What I like is that when I arrive, I don't look like a dirty hippy or backpacker. I look like I just slept comfortably in first class on the flight. I think that gets you a little better treatment and service from immigration, customs, and the hotel staff.

Plus you don't look like a tourist who just left America for the first time in their lives.

They also work great on business trips because I can wear them for engagements at client sites. I sometimes spend very long days working with clients. The shirt holds up. I still look professional, even though I'm exausted. And if the client wants me to join them for drinks or a late dinner at pub, no worries. I'm good to go.

My advice. If you are serious about your business and your travel. Then put a couple of these in your inventory. You won't regret it.

Just Awesome

This shirt performed flawlessly in 100+ degree summer heat in Japan. Not only that, but it looks great. Fit is perfect, sleeves just right, collar is on point. If you're on the fence and wondering if these are worth it... they definitely are. Hands down the nicest travel shirt I've ever owned.

Pocket is really big. But quality is there. Good feel and colour. Make sure to check measurements.

Tried a few wool shirts, this is my favorite

I tried a few merino wool shirts & this is by far my favorite. It is slim enough to look modern (I got the modern large, I am 5ft 11), I like that I can wear it tucked or untucked, I didn't smell (I had a merino wool undershirt), and it is pretty easy to wash / clean.

When I ironed it, it took pretty well & stayed looking sharp even when packed for flights, etc. about as well as the best "no iron" shirts I have.

It still gets wrinkles after washing it, so it needs to be ironed, but it isn't that bad. If I didn't iron it for a work event, it wouldn't be too terrible.

I also have some fitted custom shirts & this looks about as sharp.

"unbound' has a pretty good dress shirt as a more casual version. But I like the Libertad MUCH MUCH.
